Will the client lose a class?

Honestly, that depends! What’s important to note is that Bitlancer doesn’t handle removing classes from pricing options when a client late cancels or no shows — this is a core feature of Mindbody.

In Mindbody, a late cancel will always lose a class, and this is not customizable by the studio. Even your Unlimited clients (pricing options with 99999 available classes) will lose a class when they late cancel; however, 99998 classes is still a lot of classes to use - your client won’t even notice!

No shows are a different story. Most Mindbody sites are configured to remove a class when a client no shows; however, this is customizable by the studio under Manager Tools Class & Enrollment Options, as shown in the screenshot.

So as you can see, when Bitlancer charges a late cancel or no show fee, the client will lose a class off their pricing option if they late canceled, and may lose a class if they no show, depending on how your Mindbody site is configured.

For customers using our service with Unlimited pricing options, this typically doesn’t matter too much.

For customers using our service with class pack customers (such as 5 packs or 10 packs), you may wish to only penalize no shows, charge different late cancel fees (knowing they are also losing a class), or utilize our class return feature, which sells a new class to the client as part of charging them a late cancel or no show fee.
